Inspiration  

I chose this kind of psychedelic tapestry. I focused on one of the mushrooms. both its shape and its design. I was thinking more in a universe where the are fighting in the elements. So ponchos and beanies and futuristic technology.  


I found the patterns and shapes interesting and thought I could do a lot with it. at first I was thinking it was shaped like a ghost and it could be a race of like psychedelic spirits but then I started focusing on clothes.

The character i created is from a futuristic city. She is essentially a gatherer and has to face the cold weathers outside  that’s why she has the beanie, scarf, and poncho. she also has a robot that assist her  that is shaped like the mushroom with psychedelic designs. Her appearance is like a futuristic/apocalyptic hippie. Her name is also Lukaius

More theory

I couldn't really depict it correctly but I wanted to use the bottom of the mushroom to make this sort of infinity scarf. I theory I want the clothes to be baggy to give the look of a mushroom(puffy and dropping). I also want the psychedelic color scheme as well as the waviness of the designs to be a central part of the costume design of the characters,

Inspiration  I chose this image because of the bushes lined along the side. I found the textures interesting as well as the different shapes cut into them.  I was specifically drawn to the bush in the front because I thought it looked like a person.  The second I saw the image (which I took on vacation so it is still my own) I saw a person with a headpiece and a dress. So I wanted to explore that and see what I could come up with. I saw a couple of things. a cool texture for clothes being one. The other is a kind of fuzzy head shape. so the character could be kind of fuzzy or prickly. Sketches I drew a character named Oakley. I used the bush texture and shape to make a formal dress. I also designed the charter so that his body is like the stem/sticks of the bush and his clothes are more like the leaves.
