I found paint and smooshed it together on a piece of paper kind of like the psychotherapy sheets. i did it a couple times till I got this one.

this is frog man. he lives in frogington. his head shape is from the paint and I kind of just based the rest of off the paint. I Used two different head heights so it kind of looks like an adult and a kid.

Inspiration  I chose this image because of the bushes lined along the side. I found the textures interesting as well as the different shapes cut into them.  I was specifically drawn to the bush in the front because I thought it looked like a person.  The second I saw the image (which I took on vacation so it is still my own) I saw a person with a headpiece and a dress. So I wanted to explore that and see what I could come up with. I saw a couple of things. a cool texture for clothes being one. The other is a kind of fuzzy head shape. so the character could be kind of fuzzy or prickly. Sketches I drew a character named Oakley. I used the bush texture and shape to make a formal dress. I also designed the charter so that his body is like the stem/sticks of the bush and his clothes are more like the leaves.
